So Kitsune, the Maskless Crusader, has a post with various SDG images:
I found a few more. I mean once you start looking they are everywhere
First on the side of a hotel coffee machine
Second in the same hotel they are using SDGs as an excuse to not change the sheets and towels frequently. This BTW is a common recent hotel practice. I believe it’s actually a greenwashing excuse to disguise the fact that they can’t hire enough cleaners
Thirdly I’m a sporty kind of person and I use strava. Strava has a SDG related challenge (which I accidentally joined when I tried to click to find out more details)
In the (tedious) details it has this:
Details & Eligibility
Rewards
By completing the challenge you will become an ambassador for a better world and receive your Strava digital badge. Your name, if you provide it to us, will appear in the book of ambassadors for a better world. We will plant a tree in your name and you will receive a certificate that confirms your contribution, and includes the location of the tree. You will also receive the AireLibre magazine digital with the best ideas of sustainable tourism.
You can get the shirt and the pin by order at the following link: www.challengeforabetterworld.com
And you can donate to the United Nations World Food Program (Nobel Peace Prize 2020).
If you follow that link you’ll find it redirects to https://correporlosods.com/en/ which is a Spanish language site (mostly) full of SDG BS
Thanks for the contribution…..on my post about SDGs. Sorry they hooked you into participating.
A question that needs to be asked, “For a better world” as defined by whom? The follow up question being, What is their definition of “A better world”?
BTW, I just subscribed. I though I had already done so. Guess not.
