Not long ago I made a prediction that Joe Biden would not survive August1. I’m prepared to extend that a touch to September or possibly early October but I still think he’ll be a lucky husk of a human being to still be above room temperature on November 5th.
Why?
The Dems and their Deep State allies really really need Commie La Whoreish to win in November. They seem to have done the sums, consulted the pollsters and so on and decided that Joe had to go but that they could’t replace the hoe as well. This could change, in which case I may have to post another update, but I think that for various reasons Commie La Whoreish and her VP pick (whoever that is) are the ones who have to try and get it over the line. If they don’t stick with her then you get a crab bucket contest as all the hopefuls fight each other for the post and in the process do even more damage to the “save democracy” concept. The Dems are going to struggle to present unity as it is, if they have an undemocratic scramble to pick a presidential candidate that skips any attempt at primaries (which they effectively have to do because they have a month at most to pick the candidate), then that messaging is going to become so thin no one is going to believe it.
Plus, while the DNC could undoubtedly shift the Biden/Harris campaign warchest to itself and then to the next candidate that sort of thing takes time and requires people to hold meetings, pass resolutions etc. that could go wrong, be delayed or challenged in the courts by others who don’t get their hands in the till and so on. Then there’s the basic mechanics of accepting future payments which would probably need new bank details, credit card processing etc. etc. Obviously it can all be done but it’s a lot of work that has to be done fast and therefore is likely to have errors that mean it has to be redone which delays things and eventually the dems have a few less days to fund raise properly and fewer millions in donations and that’s not good for them.
OTOH Harris simply swaps the name BidenHarris to HarrisWossname at the top and that’s it.
So La Whoreish One is the Chosen One.
Unfortunately she’s a horrible DEI hire who, as I noted previously, got her start the old fashioned way, on her knees and back. And by horrible I mean that she is literally horrible to her subordinates and associates - just seach for “Kamala Harris staff turnover” in your search engine of choice and note articles like this one from the BBC:
She's had a surprising amount of staff turnover in her first year in office, with her communications chief and press spokesperson both departing.
A particularly stinging blow came in the Washington Post, where an anonymous former staffer said she was unwilling to do the work necessary for the job and took out her frustration on her aides.
"With Kamala you have to put up with a constant amount of soul-destroying criticism and also her own lack of confidence," the former staffer said. "So you're constantly sort of propping up a bully, and it's not really clear why."
Ms Harris' problems have regularly been compounded by gaffes during one-on-one interviews and public appearances. There's talk of friction between her office and the rest of the White House.
And let’s not forget the verbal diarrhea word salads she “unburdens” on her audience. She’s a nasty piece of work and a poor candidate who only looks good because she’s not in fact a senile old man.
Paul Mirengoff worries that Commie La Whoreish will do well in a debate with Trump because he’ll come across as bullying and overbearing and she won’t screw up as much2
Let’s start with the fact that, unlike with Biden, most Americans don’t regard Harris as mentally incapable of performing the duties of president. Unintelligent she may be, but she’s not anywhere close to senility. Nor is intelligence a prerequisite for defeating Trump. Otherwise, Biden would not have accomplished it.
Unlike Biden, Harris can complete a spoken thought. She can memorize talking points. Biden’s inability to do either during the June debate is what dropped him from behind Trump to well behind Trump.
Harris can debate competently. In fact, it was her effective performance in the first Democratic presidential debate of 2019 that propelled her to prominence.
It’s true that she wilted under attack from Tulsi Gabbard in the next debate. However, she held her own against Mike Pence in the vice presidential debate of 2020.
Many Republicans probably assume Trump would blow Harris away in a debate. I don’t, and would have much preferred a J.D. Vance-Harris matchup.
Trump did not debate well against Biden last month. He looked good only in comparison to his opponent.
I’ve seen no evidence, either in that debate or the convention speech, that Trump is capable of doing much more than claiming that his administration was the greatest and Biden’s the worst. Trump seems wedded to the talking points of his stump speech. I’ve yet to see him go beyond them.
I am… unconvinced. I think Trump can probably manage to shut up enough early on that she cackles and unburdens herself of word salad sufficiently well that he can then go in for the “Didn’t Earn It” jab. While the media talking heads and the Karens in the electorate will hate it, if he combines it with mentioning her track record of keeping blacks in prison while California DA, he’ll likely split off the young male back vote and (because this is key) the young male black enablers of vote fraud. I think the progressive left have no idea how much “Didn’t Earn it” hires piss off everyone who isn’t one themselves and if Trump / his campaign. Nor do I think they understand how the gang banger ghetto crowd feel about Trump (“felon” on Trumped up charges, actually did some early release of prisoners) versus Commie La Whoreish who kept people in prison who should have been released.
Assuming she loses the debate badly, or something else happens that tanks the Commie La Whoreish polls during or after the DNC convention, then the Dems have a major problem. Oh and talking of the DNC in Chicago, what could possibly go wrong? I mean 1968 was fine….
Right so hypothetically the Dems are stuck with Commie La Whoreish and the polls are bad because of something she did or said (or didn’t do/say that she should have) or because Antifa and the Transgender Queers for Palestine mob burn down Chicago. What can they do?
Well no one’s falling for “COVID 2 electric boogaloo” lockdowns so they need a distraction and an opportunity for Commie to show her strengths as a leader and a mother to the nation. Having her lead the mourning for Joe after his untimely demise is ideal. Not only do we have her surrounded by world leaders offering their condolences in the news for days, she also gets to make speeches playing tribute to him that are not overtly political at all (ha ha ha) and she can dump some of the campaigning she’s bad at because she has to govern the nation etc. etc. It really is, for the Dems, a win win and it only seems fitting that Joe Biden, a lifelong party hack, end up laying down his life for his party.
Probably still won’t derail the Trump train but it’ll be too late for Joe when they discover that.
Update: I write all this and then I find this Xeet:
Let's recap this historic day:
• Joe Biden suddenly *RESIGNS* via @X
• White House staff find out ONE MINUTE later
• Joe Biden "resignation" letter not on official letterhead
• Biden "signature" suspect (underlined?)
• Steve Richetti helped write letter
• Jill Biden tweets *heart emoji* response• White House *WIPES* Biden's schedule
• WH Chief of Staff calls Cabinet, manages Comms
• Frank Biden confirms health a factor
• Family suggests Biden may have terminal illness
• Joe Biden holds no LIVE Press Conference
• Where is Joe?
Just another perfectly normal day in Biden's America.
“Terminal illness” that worsens swiftly over the next 60 days… hmmmm…
Never mind Mirengoff. He'll never get over his hurt feelings over Trump, how somebody "who is clearly not our kind" (according to his pretentious, snooty self) went ahead and beat Hitlery. I mean, he even went as far as stating that Horizontal Harris "did well in the Dem primaries."
Seriously? What primaries was he watching? What was he smoking? She couldn't debate her way out of a paper bag.
Obama is apparently pushing some different plan.
Which I take as confirmation that there is not a single genius planner with a single genius master plan, and that some confusion and uncertainty is likely as factions feud.
I am shocked, shocked, at the suggestion that the most prominent single case of elder abuse might possibly result in short changing the elder's health.
I think the situation is dependent on changes in mental state for a small number of very crazy people, and that things can change entirely for them three times in the next fifteen weeks.
